After a little while, Tobias had finished making food. He poked his head out the kitchen and saw Talbot. He couldn't stop that small little grin that grew on his face when he looked at him. He brought out two plates of food, and set them on the coffee table. Then be gentle shook Talbot "Hey babe. Wake up" he said kindly

Talbot didn't look over at him, hearing him going towards the door. "It's probably just the wind," he muttered. He decided while he was still somewhat awake, he should get up. He sat up groggily and looked over at where Tobias was now. "Just leave it be. It's nothing."

Tobias ignored Talbot, and opened the door. When he did, he found the scrawny thing of a cat. It looked like it had just gotten out of it's kitten stages, but was far from being a adult. Tobias went 'awwww' And picked up the runt of a cat. The thing was a dark brown with black tabby markings and it's fur was scraggly and ungroomed. Tobias was acting very childish, as he held the cat and pet it, and the poor thing began to purr, and cling to Tobias

"Why of course we're keeping it!" He chirped, and the kitty purred louder. At closer inspection it looked like its left eye was shut tightly. Like it was infected, and swollen shut. Tobias noticed that, and that made him only feel more pitiful for it. He strolled over to a chair, and sat it it, putting the cat in his lap, were he began to scratch it's chin, and talk to it in a very sweet and childish voice.

Tobias seemed to darken a little "Well excuse me. I suppose I shouldn't ask you to move in then, as I had planned to do today" HE said, and continued to pet the pathetic creature, who seemed to already be in love with the boy "and if it's such a big deal, I'll take him to a shelter. I'm sure they won't kill him right away. Let him live a few days, not treat him. Let him wallow in pain, having never experience love. And then kill him. Sounds pleasant" He was being dramatic, yes. But he didn't want to get rid of the cat. And was kinda pissed now, for whatever reason. Maybe it was because of how he had planned on asking Talbot to move in with him, but now that wasn't gonna happen.

Talbot sat back down and turned to face away from him, sensing Tobias' love for the cat already. And he did have a point. The shelter was going to kill any animal they couldn't sell. Even if he hated animals, nothing deserved that. "Fine, keep the cat." Something seemed to click in his brain at that moment, and he turned to Tobias. "You were going to ask me to move in?"
